What content is monitored in Writer documents?

In document monitoring, there are various blocks and data that are or are not monitored.

Monitor data

The following blocks are monitored by the document monitorig. If changes are made to the referenced content of the corresponding entry, the document is marked as outdated and the changes are displayed in the change overview.

• Dynamic Content Block
• Re-useable Content Block
• GSPR Block
• Entry Inline Block

Not monitored data

For some blocks, it is not advantageous for them to be monitored by document monitoring and marked as outdated, as these changes are usually global changes. For example, the changes to the default header and footer. Such a change would mark most documents as outdated.

For this reason, the following blocks are not monitored by document monitoring:

• Inline Content Document Type
• Inline Content person changed
• Table of Approval person name changed
• Header and footer changes
